Mardi8 was in charge of the 3D modelling of several emblematic wrecks of the Mediterranean underwater heritage and of the rental of VR broadcasting media. The devices designed on the basis of these virtual reconstructions were deployed on 5 sites in the Region Sud.

The Southern Region developed a project, in collaboration with European actors, focused on the development of underwater maritime heritage, through the creation of a cross-border network of sites of underwater activities (underwater trails, adjacent diving sites, virtual underwater discovery), mobilizing and promoting the expertise of public and private actors in the cooperation area.

The Region designed and produced audiovisual products (underwater shots, 3D images, etc.) and acquired innovative equipments and broadcasting media. The objective was to allow non-divers to experience underwater exploration "out of the water".
